1. Straight/Slim fit dark denim- A good pair of jeans is a must for any man. I prefer a dark stain indigo. It looks classy and elegant. I would stray away from the "worn" look. Holes in your jeans were a great style a few years ago, but when dressing to be a gentleman you want to look clean.
This is J Crew's slimmest fit pant yet, so do not just go out and buy it. This denim is to just simply put my point out there. A dark slim/straight leg denim looks great. Notice how this fit does not look like a pair of girl's skinny jeans. Slim doesn't have to mean skin tight. |
2. Light weight chino- There will always be a "warm" fall day. You have already put your shorts in the back of the drawer or hung them up in the back of your closet. Keep your great fall look going by keeping a pair of light weight chinos close at hand. They are great for going out, or getting the job done at work.
This is Bonobo's Summer Weight Chino. This Chino isn't for every state. If you live up in the North/North East, you probably wont need many summer/light weight clothes for your fall wardrobe. If you are like me and live in Texas, a warm day can come in any season. |
3. Slim fit chino- Slim is in. There is no denying it. Euro-fashion is taking America by storm. If you are feeling adventurous and you are wanting to keep up with the trends, a skinny chino can take you to that next level.
Here are H&M's Slim Fit Chino. Just as I noted with the skinny fit denim, you don't want it to look like you are wearing women's pants. They should still fit comfortably, but slim. When wanting to go with a little bit more dressy urban look, go to the Slim Chino vs Slim Denim sometimes. |
4. Corduroys- These pants have taken a lot of heat in the recent years, but I won't stay away from them. I have a couple pairs of these guys mid-closet come fall time. Great for cool days and can be cool enough for warm days, corduroys are a great pair of pants.
Pictured here are the Vineyard Vine's Classic Fit Five Pocket Corduroys. Like I said before, I have a couple pairs of these in my closet. I have already worn these on a cool Texas cold front, but these can almost be worn daily up North right now. |
5. Joggers- We all have errands to run or Netflix to watch. If you want to stay up with the fashion trend, have a pair of joggers ready to throw on. One look and people will instantly know that you can keep up with the best when it comes to trends. I suggest a grey color so you can pair them with just about any shoe or any shirt.
Now I wouldn't normally wear sweats in public, but since I have gotten these On The Byas sweatpant joggers from PacSun I don't mind so much. |
