1. Hiking- Lucky for us, the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge offers us over 3,000 acres to explore beautiful Mother Nature. Now this isn't every woman's cup of team so be careful here. There are bugs, spiders, and other "creatures" that some just can't handle, including some guys. So you both have to be comfortable for this to be fun. On the complete opposite if you and your gal want to face your outdoor fears, come on in and walk about.

2. Biking- Thanks to Fort Worth Bike Share, you and your significant other can hop on a bike, hit the Trinity Trail, and enjoy a picnic somewhere along the river from the picnic basket you put in your bike basket. If you both are into cycling, go ahead and enjoy the day covering every inch of paved stone on the roughly 16 mile plus stretch. You can also enjoy a nice ride in Dallas on the Katy Trail.

3. Museums- Every now and then it is ok to go get your nerd on. It is quite grounding actually. Take a step back and walk through the halls of a museum and just discover new things. Get lost for a day with someone you care about and learn with them. Here are a few places I suggest:

4. State Fair- This only comes around once a year, and you better hurry because there is only 10 days left. There is something for everyone at the State Fair of Texas. Do you like Food? If you answered Yes, then head to the State Fair and try some of the famous fried foods. Just don't forget your heartburn medicine. There is tons of live shows, attractions, and even an autoshow. Who wouldn't like a day at the fair?

5. Drive-In Movie Theatre- I have been promising my wife this for some time now. We love our movies and we can't get enough of them during the winter when we are iced in our apartment here in Texas. What better way to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather by doing something we enjoy. Make your way over to Coyote Drive-In in Fort Worth, Galaxy Drive-In in Ennis, or The Brazos Drive-In in Granbury and enjoy a movie and the great outdoors with your gal.

6. Pumpkin Carving- You don't have to go anywhere for this. Just buy a pumpkin or 2 and maybe a carving set and you are good to go. Every little philly loves to carve a pumpkin.

7. Afternoon Drive- If you are like my wife and I, most of our time doing some serious bonding is in the car. Working 2 different kind of work schedules can do this to you. No worries though, just hop in the car one afternoon and head for any country side you can. The lack of things to look at besides flat lands or hills in Texas will surely bring you too closer together.

8. College Football- It is that time of year again. The grass is freshly cut (or turf freshly beaded now a days) and the tailgating aroma is in the air. Put on your school colors and head to a local College tailgate and football game. There will be plenty of friendly spirits there who will invite you to partake in their pre-game rituals. If you aren't feeling outgoing, just ask another couple or some friends you know to tag along with you.

9. Haunted House- This is a classic. Gents, take your girl by the hand and be her heroin as you lead her to safety through a haunted house full of scares trying to steal her away. Here are some local ones to look for:
10. Pumpkin Spice Latte- This is the no brainer. Take her to a coffee shop and just talk, there is something that getting out side of your house will do for your connection. Talk about you, talk about her just enjoy this time together and don't forget to do this from time to time and enjoy some of your favorite hot drinks and get to know each other.
Where will you go on a date this fall?
