1. Leather Goods.
I have always been a fan of leather goods. There is something about the texture, small, and visual comfort that I find when I see leather. I have never heard anyone say, "look at that leather couch, it looks so uncomfortable." From my shoes, to my furniture, to my car interior. It is all leather. My most recent leather purchase was a pair of hand made drivers that I bought when I was in Capri during our honeymoon. They are by far the softest leather shoes I have ever owned. My next purchase is going to be a leather briefcase from Buffalo Jackson. I have had my eye on this one for years and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
Ever since I can remember, shoes have been my go to purchase. It completes the outfits personality. Anyone can wear jeans and a t-shirt, but what accompanies that outfit is what gives it the personality and characteristics that one desires. I am always searching for a pair of shoes that look neutral, but with the right outfit pop and shine like they are gold plated. I bought three pairs of shoes while I was in Italy for the honeymoon. I absolutely love them and wear them all the time. Now I know I said I always try to find a neutral pair of shoes, but that isn't always the case. Sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone and go with something fun. I am looking forward to my purchase of one of Cole Haan's Nike inspired dress shoes.
Business is my absolute daily passion. There are so many different aspects of it. Some even say fashion and looking good is business. You know what? I agree with them. But I am talking more about the political game and daily dealings of being a business man. Reading the papers, looking at the blog and gossip columns of what company is doing what. I even like to analyze different companies within an industry on how they do business. I know, super nerdy. But, I think it is a trait that will one day land my wife and I in a very good place.
